How each Rose Girl is made
Each Rose Girl is made by hand, one at a time. We start with natural soy wax, which we melt with care and pour into the mold that gives the figure its shape: the seated silhouette, the flower headpiece, the bouquet of roses with its petals, the little hands. The wax needs time to rest and set properly, and only then do we unmold the piece by hand and refine it patiently, so every rose comes out clean and well-defined. The dusty pink finish and the softer details of the bouquet are then worked on with care, by hand. No two are exactly alike: it’s the small variations of handcrafting that make each Girl unique.
