How the Little Jungle Friends are made
Each little animal is made by hand from soy wax. The wax is melted, tinted in the chosen tone and poured into each figure’s mould — the lion, the giraffe, the elephant. After the rest it needs to solidify, we unmould it carefully to preserve the features that give them character — the mane, the spots, the ears — and finish it by hand until it has that matte, soft look.
Being made one at a time, each figure keeps nuances of its own. It’s the charm of the handmade: sibling pieces, but never clones.
A little piece of Mallorca
The Little Jungle Friends are born in Mallorca. Working from the island, calmly and with the Mediterranean light behind us, leaves its mark on every piece: no rushing, attentive to detail, everything through the hands. We like to think that serenity travels inside every little animal.
When this little expedition arrives at a celebration, it carries that Mallorca-made origin with it. For anyone celebrating on the island, it’s also a way to add a little piece of Mallorca to a special day.
How to display them
The set works beautifully as table decoration: the three little animals create a small corner of safari full of tenderness. Handed out among the guests, in their boxes with a name, they become the keepsake each one takes home. And afterwards they have a clear second life in the little ones’ room, where they stay as endearing objects. Many families prefer to keep them unlit.
