How First Little Steps are made
Each cupcake is made by hand from soy wax. The wax is melted with care and poured into the molds for the liner, the frosting and the little feet, which are tinted in their shade — pink or blue — and unmolded patiently so every tiny toe and every swirl of frosting stays crisp. The wick is set, the wax rests for as long as it needs to solidify, and then the piece is assembled.
Finally, each one is finished individually: we check the reliefs, place the details and make sure it has that soft, matte finish our candles are known for. Like everything we make by hand, each cupcake has its own small nuances, and no two are exactly alike.
