How the Little Elephant is made
Each elephant is made by hand from soy wax. The wax is melted, poured into the mould that shapes the body, the ears and the base, and the wick is set. After the rest it needs to solidify, we unmould it carefully so the features — the eyes, the trunk, the little bow — stay crisp, and finish it by hand until it has that soft, matte look.
Being handmade, each piece has its own nuances. We don’t aim for them to come out identical, but for each to keep the charm of something made by hand.
